About me

I am Shana Laffy, an experienced Individual and Relationship Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer. Truly passionate about helping people reconnect to their true selves and regain a sense of wholeness,  I specialise in helping clients improve their relationship connections, develop authentic communication skills and support healing from past challenges and trauma.

I originally trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, focusing on offering creative arts therapy to children and young people, after an extensive career in education and social care. Today, I mostly offer therapy to adults, couples, people in relationships and adult families, as well as clinical supervision to counsellors and therapists.

I facilitate training for mental health professionals on arrange of topics such as, relationship therapy, SandStory therapy, safeguarding, and working with intimate partner and family violence. As an accredited Emotion Coaching Practitioner Trainer, I deliver workshops nationwide to parents and educators.

In my private practice in North London, I integrate creative arts tools like SandStory Therapy® and focus on attachment and neuroscience-informed approaches. I am also trained in the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy with The Couples Institute in the USA. I am currently undergoing a master’s degree to specialise in Psychosexual Therapy.
